gothenburg-harbor-2200 by eWKn gothenburg-harbor-2200 by eWKn
Hi guys and yet again thanks for all your support! without you guys life would be so much harder.
This is a future harbor thats been abandoned since the water dried and pollution took over. Rust and oil is everywhere together with pollution. Get your gas mask on and start savaging these old wrecks and you might find some treasures

As I first looked at this, it looked like the beginning of building a new megacity :) but okay, it's a harbour. nevertheless I love those futuristic settings and I like reading some interesting info in the description. because it increases the intensity of the atmosphere once more, in my oppinion. :)

Beautiful painting, great mood and I like the colors in the abandoned ruins.

I hope the real future is not like this - but it's definitely very interesting :)

Nice.
Maybe you can explain me this, how do you make all those little squares with color gradients I see so often in this kind of concepts. You know what I'm talking about, the ones that can by seen by the millions in futustic builings and massive spaceship concepts o_o

I love the contrast between the murky greys & browns and the pinks & purples. Stunning work!

Amazing! I'm visiting Göteborg for the second time at the moment, and I can really visualise this- though of course, I wouldnt ever want it to become a reality.

Keep up the excellent work!

Great, I like how you used the unnatural colors: the pinks and purples really draw the eye into the image's far reaches.

*gasm*

Love the concept and execution. Like, you can tell it was a happy bustling place at one time.

I would like to imagine the aliens came and traded all our water for some beads and blankets.

Very cool!! I'd love to hear more of what you think about when you work on pics like these. Things like - what is this place. What happens here. What's the political situation etc... Or do you think about those kinds of things while you work or do you mainly just work it out instinctively?
