Char alien design eclipse 3

I love how every comment is something like "he looks like so and so!" If people did that with general character design for humans well...there would be no end to it. Aliens seem to be a touchy subject. Hard to design too. Staying with a general human make up and body shape but deforming it to the point of interest and cosmetic preferences. Since mass effect came out I think ALL alien designs are going to be compared to it, even if they did come first.
I adore the design on his forehead. I can picture other variations of his race having intricate and ornate designs all their own. I personally like the single glow variation. I suppose it depends on whether you wanted it to be an organic visor or eyes. In any case, he has a beautiful side profile. I like hearing that its not something you generally do, always nice to see artists branching out. Keep with it, I would love to see more of him. I wish I didn't have so much work on my plate, I'd love to draw him!
